Healthy Indian Recipes: Thick garlic Indian bread

Thick garlic Indian bread / Roti’s (Bhakhri’s):

Ingredients:
• 25gm wheat flour
• 10gm soybean flour
• 5 gm gram flour
• ½ tea spoon garlic paste
• 10gm chopped green leafy garlic
• Salt to taste
• 20ml Olive oil
• Water

Method:
Mix all the ingredients with 10ml to 15ml oil in a vessel. Now, pour some water as much as it would take to make a tight soft dough. This will help avoid using more dry flour while rolling it into chapattis.

Keep the dough covered for 10 minutes. Then make 2 or 3 parts of the dough. Roll it round into somewhat thick roti’s. Now oil is needed to cook these roti’s. Inorder to use minimal oil, apply oil with cotton while cooking on a flat pan

Cook till they look mild brown in color on a nonstick frying pan. After they are well cooked, Store them in a closed vessel. You can enjoy eating these in your meals with vegetable or snack in between meals with tea and garlic bhakri.
