Holistic Yoga
For healthy mind and body there is holistic yoga. This means that it will keep you mentally and physically fit. Yoga does not mean only yogasana but there are eight parts / Eight Limb Yoga called Ashtangyoga,

The Ashtangas (eight parts-or-limbs) are:
- Yama
- Niyama
- Asana
- Pranayama
- Pratyahara
- Dhyana
- Dharana
- Samadhi
Brief explanation of Eight Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga -
- Yama (Principles or moral code)
- Ahimsa – A principle of non-violence
- Satya – A principle of Truthfulness
- Asteya – A principle of non stealing
- Brahmacharya – Continence / celibacy
- Aparigah – A principle of non-hoarding or non possessiveness
- Ahimsa – A principle of non-violence
- Niyama (Personal Disciplines)
- Shoucha – Purity
- Santosh – Contentment
- Tapa – Endurance
- Swadhyaya – Self study
- Eshwar Pranidhan – Dedication
- Shoucha – Purity
- Asana – (Yoga Postures / positions) a body posture which helps attains physical and mental equilibrium and makes the body healthy.
- Pranayama – (Yoga Breathing) control of breath.
- Pratyahara – (Withdrawal of Senses) This is a mental preparation to increase the power of mind. Eating healthy right food.
- Dharana – This helps to achieve concentration on a particular object
- Dhyan – This is basically withdrawing yourself from all external objects and concentration on inner peace and meditating.
- Samadhi – This is a state of Super bliss. It gives us absolute consciousness or Realization of God. It is very difficult however this is the ultimate achievement for a human being.
