- Losing weight
For losing weight one needs to not only concentrate on exercises but also should have a proper diet routine. Now that does not mean that we have to keep ourselves starving. It means we have to take low calories balanced diet from time to time. And accordingly perform exercises. Yoga involves systematic exercises that makes body weight according to our height and keeps the body fit. Here, the calories that we burn need to be more than the calorie intake. The 6 pranayams explained below needs to be done everyday along with a proper diet routine. - Increase weight
When our body is under weight we have to take high calories food and do some exercises that will increase our hunger and will digest our food.. The calorie intake needs to be more than the calories that we burn.
- Maintain weight
Well, these are the lucky people who don’t have to fret and worry about losing or gaining weight. However, if you are not careful, you will fall into one of the above categories. Hence, even they have to be careful and maintain a diet and exercise routine which enables maintaining the current weight. The calorie intake should be equal to the amount of calories that we burn by means of exercise.
