When our body is under weight we have to take high calorie food and do some exercises that will increase our hunger and will digest our food. To increase hunger and digest food properly Vajrasana and Pavanmuktasana are very important asana’s.

 

 


NOTE: This asana can also be done with both the knees folded

The main benefits are: It helps to digest the food, removes gas from the abdomen and reduces abdominal fat. It also increases the flexibility of the knees and hips.

The calorie intake should be equal to the amount of calories that we burn by means of exercise. One can follow the pranayama’s explained earlier. This will help the body to remain physically fit and maintain weight.

To perform all these pranayama’s we have to sit in Padmasana or Sidhhasana or Sukhasana, in any one dhyana position.
